SHC disposes of plea about Swiss letter

Sindh High Court (SHC) Monday disposed of an application regarding the Swiss letter to be written by Prime Minister.

Hearing the plea, the SHC’s divisional bench discharged the plea seeking court order to Prime Minister for Swiss letter, remarking the same issue is pending before the Supreme Court (SC); accordingly, the high court cannot interfere into this.
It should be mentioned here that former Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani was disqualified by the apex court for avoiding the court’s orders for writing the letter to Swiss authorities to open graft cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.
