Army continues relief operation for flood affectees


Karachi   - Pakistan Army continued its relief operation to assist the rain and flood affectees. An ISPR press release issued here on Monday said that troops from Pakistan Army continued to serve the affectees in the areas of Jacobabad and Kashmore and in the worst-hit areas during the recent floods. Boats of Army engineers are busy helping the flood-affectees in moving to safer areas. More than 8,000 affectees have been rescued so far, it added.Helicopters are being used extensively to deliver ration to marooned people.
