MQM flays attack on Kohat-bound bus

KARACHI - The Muttahida Quami Movement Coordination Committee on Friday strongly condemned the firing on a Kohat-bound passenger bus in Qazi Ahmed town near Nawabshah. The committee expressed grief over the deaths in the attack, and termed the attack an act of barbarism.  The committee warned that some elements in Sindh were conspiring to spark violence by creating acrimonies and bitterness among permanent residents of Sindh. “The terrorist incident occurring in Qazi Ahmed was also a part of the same conspiracy,” it alleged.  The MQM committee demanded President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and Interior Minister Rehman Malik to order an inquiry into the incident and penalise those behind it. The committee also expressed sympathies to the bereaved families and offered condolences. It prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured.
