Pakistan as part of goodwill gesture, on Wednesday released 311 Indian fishermen who have completed their sentences. According to details, out of 315 Indian fishermen imprisoned in Malir Jail, 311 were released while four others were barred due to health and other issues and would be set free later. The released fishermen included 290 men and 21 children and they would be handed over to Indian authorities at Wahga border on Thursday (today). The two countries as a part of good will gesture release prisoners every month but it would be for the first time that a large number of prisoners have been set free in a go. Talking to media persons after release, the Indian fishermen thanked the Pakistan government and jail authorities for their care during stay in prison.
