KARACHI - Mohammad Asif 26, son of Tahir was gunned down in an act of target killing in Block 13-D-2 within jurisdiction of Gulshan-e-Iqbal police station.

DSP Pervez Iqbal Bhatti said that the deceased had a general store, the incident took place when two armed men riding a motorcycle came to his store and shot him. He was shot twice and the culprits escaped after shooting him. Asif was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
DSP Bhatti said that they found six empty 9mm shells, he added that the motive behind the incident has yet to be ascertained.
