KARACHI - Prof Evaghelos Xynos MD, PhD, FACS will visit Karachi to conduct a live demonstration of colorectal surgeries at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, from Oct 1-4.He is the Head of the Department of General Surgery at Creta Interclinic of Heraklion, “Agia Olga” Hospital of Athens, Greece. He has contributed in colorectal cancer and postoperative anorectal and pelvic floor motility disorders and has special mastery in the management of inflammatory Bowel Disease and Laparoscopic Colorectal surgery. He has supervised 14 completed Doctoral thesis, contributed in 11 textbooks and has more than 150 publications and 1100 citations to his credit. He is a member of distinctive coloproctology societies including European Society of Coloproctology, European Association of Endoscopic Surgery and Hellenic society of Digestive Surgery.
