KARACHI - Commissioner Karachi Roshan Ali Khan has instructed all the deputy commissioners to continue campaign against profiteers and hoarders in the city.Presiding over a meeting in his office here Tuesday, he said that profiteers and hoarders were anti people who sell consumer items higher than the officially prescribed rates.They are committing crime by selling consumer items higher than the price list and therefore they should not spared and action should be continued against them without discrimination.The meeting was told that action has been taken against 146 profiteers with a fine of Rs 270,000. Besides, campaign against gutka sellers, un-hygienic meat sellers and milk sellers for charging higher rates is continued.
