KARACHI - The Sindh government here the other day reshuffled many of its officers. According to the notification issued, Food Department Secretary Muhammad Naseer Jamali has been transferred and posted as tourism department secretary.However, Lyari Expressway Resettlement project director has been transferred and posted as food department secretary.Similarly, another officer Hashim Raza Zaidi, who was waiting for posting, has been posted as secretary of newly created rehabilitation department. Meanwhile, Malir Development Authority Director General Ata Muhammad Panhwar was transferred and posted as livestock and fisheries secretary.Another officer Ali Hassan Birohi, who was waiting for posting, has been posted as special secretary (prison) in home department.When Sindh is facing possibly heavy rains, the Provincial government has transferred the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Director General Danish Saeed and directed him to report in S&GA Department.Following the recent fake encounter in the district of Jamshoro, in which police killed three labourers on Superhighway, the Sindh Government has transferred SSP of Jamshoro district Waqar Malhan and directed him to report to the home department, while Farukh Bashir has been posted as SSP Jamshoro.Memon lashes out at PML-N: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has lashed out at the PML-N for regularly moving petitions in the courts against the PPP.Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that the PML-N had become a petition-League. He said, “We are not respondents to 17 persons, a reference to the Supreme Court judges rather we are respondent to people of Pakistan.” Memon asked as to how those, who resorted to unconstitutional measures could speak of protecting the Constitution. He said the PML-N was filling petitions on every issue. He said that efforts were made to carry out trial of the PPP, adding that the Constitution was created by the parliamentarians and they also knew how to interpret it.Altaf congratulates Shujaat, Pervez Elahi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), chief Altaf Hussain had a telephonic conversation with head of the PML-Q, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Deputy Prime Minister, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi.Altaf greeted Chaudhry Pervez Elahi during telephonic conversation on his becoming Deputy Prime Minister, said a statement issued by the MQM here on Tuesday.
