KARACHI – The students of Defence Authority Degree College for Women Phase-VIII on Monday clinched top three positions in MA Economics Final Exams (Semester System)-2011 of Karachi University. As per the college’s official, “The three bright students of DHA College for Women Phase-VIII namely Farah Javed, Ayesha Jamal and Munaza Abdul Quddoos secured first, second and third positions respectively.” All the three position-holders attributed their success to their consistent hard work, parents and the guidance of their teachers. The students were of the view that culture of rigorous academic discipline, punctuality and intellectually vibrant learning environment at the college campus played a pivotal role in their success.Professor Samia Sadia, acting principal of the college, said that her institution was committed to achieve the goals of excellence in academics and co-curricular fields. DHA College for Women is consecutively securing top positions in different examinations at Board and University levels for the last many years.
