KARACHI - Acting Administrator, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Matanat Ali Khan has said that KMC has planned to renovate the Hill Park as it is a popular recreational site of the city.

He was speaking at an interactive session with the Care-taker Committee of the Park; constituting notables residing in its vicinity, said a Karachi Metropolitan Corporation release on Tuesday.
Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Director General Parks and Horticulture, Niaz Ahmed Soomro, Municipal Commissioner East, Shafiq-ur-Rehman and other senior officers of KMC were also present.
The Administer KMC had a detailed visit of the Hill Park and directed the officers to immediately finalize the renovation/upgradation plan for this entertainment facility.
He ordered to ensure that all lights in and around the park were properly working, to ensure cleanliness including trimming of bushes there, to replace stagnant water in the lake there with a fresh one.
He asked to submit a detailed survey report for repair and carpeting of the roads. He also ordered immediate shifting of water tankers of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation’s Parks and Horticulture department parked there.
He assured the citizens that City Wards would be deployed there to provide them security.
