Mafia again active for playing with patients’ lives

LAHORE  –  The ‘Mafia’ who plays with the lives of the patients on the name of treatment has again become active as the supply of other free medicines to the heart patients has also been stopped in hospitals.

Whereas the heart patients are already being died due to the alleged untested medicines of Pakistan Institute of Cardiology (PIC), the sources disclosed on Tuesday. According to the sources, far most expensive medicines of the multinational companies were being purchased at the emergency of PIC and other hospitals including Services Hospital, Mayo Hospital and Jinnah Hospital.
According to the sources, these medicines were also not being tested from the labortaries. While the inflation-hit poor heart patients were forced to purchase these expensive multinational companies’ medicines by selling their household untensils. Due to the lack of selling and supply of country’s manufacturer medicines companies, thousands of the workers have been rendered jobless, the sources further disclosed.
Thousands of the heart patients have appealed to the government to immediately announce the supply of free medicines, so that the heart patients could continue their treatment with mental soothe.
