PTI, JI condemn raise in POL prices

RE - Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Syed Munawar Hasan and Secretary General Liaquat Baloch have condemned the 10 per cent raise in POL prices and termed it 'petrol drone bomb on the masses. In a statement issued here Tuesday, they said against the decline in the POL prices in the world market, the fresh raise reflected the anti-people attitude of the rulers. This raise will stop the industrial growth in the country and ruin its agriculture, they said. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and other PTI leaders have condemned the raise in POL prices, saying that the decision would further increase prices of commodities. They demanded the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo moto notice and direct the government to take back its decision regarding increase in POL prices.
