LAHORE – Punjab University has awarded seven PhDs in the fields of Punjabi, Haematology, Solid State Physics, Botany, Biological Sciences, Urdu and Special Education.
According to a press release issued on Saturday, Punjab University awarded PhD degrees to Muhammad Arshad Shahid in Punjabi after approval of his thesis titled ‘Heer Waris Shah Dey Muhawreyan Da Lisani Mutalia’; Shahida Amjad Riaz Shah in Haematology after approval of her thesis titled ‘Association of Aplastic Anaemia with Positive Viral Hepatitis Serology and its Outcome after Immunosuppressive Theraphy’; Farrukh Shahzad in Solid State Physics after approval of his thesis titled ‘Fabrication and Characterisation of new Composite Spring Exchange Magnets’; Muhammad Akram in Botany after approval of his thesis titled ‘In Vitro Approaches to the Establishment and Multiplication of Teak; Syed Akhtar Ali in Biological Sciences after approval of his thesis; Ammara Iqbal in Urdu; and Thuduwage Don Tudor Leslie Dhanpala in the subject of Special Education after approval of his thesis.
