LAHORE – Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) police on Thursday claimed to have smashed a gang of hardened criminals by arresting its four members involved in heinous crimes including kidnapping for ransom.
“CIA police have arrested four members of Kamran alias Kami gang. The gangsters have confessed to police investigators that they had kidnapped four people from for huge ransom different parts of the City,” Capital City Police Officer Aslam Tareen told reporters on Thursday.
The Capital City Police Officer  said that the police had also recovered ransom amount worth Rs700,000 and illegal weapons from their possession.
Further investigations are underway.
