LAHORE – An unemployed man shot himself dead at Ali Hussnainabad in the Sundar police precincts on Sunday. Police investigators said the deceased named Javed Masih, a father of one, had been jobless since long.
On the day of the incident, Javed shot himself with a pistol. Subsequently, he sustained multiple bullet injuries and instantly died. The body was handed over to the bereaved family members after completing necessary medico-legal formalities.
Similarly, a 26-year-old unnamed youth was found dead near Data Darbar on the same day. Locals spotted the body lying near the aforesaid Darbar and informed the police. He was pronounced as a drug addict. Policemen are awaiting the autopsy report to ascertain the real cause of his death.
At least six people, including three girls, were taken into custody by the Liaqatabad police when police raided a brothel den on Monday. Police sources said on the tip-off they raided a den established inside the Bansanwali Street and arrested six people. The culprits have been booked under the anti-social act.
Likewise, the same police arrested five alleged robbers reportedly involved in 21 felony acts and recovered cell phones, cash, gold ornaments, motorbikes and other stolen valuables from their possession.

Also, fire erupted inside a biscuit manufacturing factory situated near Thokar Niaz Baig police area was controlled by fire fighters on Monday. The main cause of fire eruption was said to be short circuiting.
