On the day of the incident, Javed shot himself with a pistol. Subsequently, he sustained multiple bullet injuries and instantly died. The body was handed over to the bereaved family members after completing necessary medico-legal formalities.
Similarly, a 26-year-old unnamed youth was found dead near Data Darbar on the same day. Locals spotted the body lying near the aforesaid Darbar and informed the police. He was pronounced as a drug addict. Policemen are awaiting the autopsy report to ascertain the real cause of his death.
