LAHORE – The lawyers boycotted the subordinate courts throughout the province on Friday to condemn the brutal killing of Sessions Judge Zulfiqar Naqvi in Quetta.
The Punjab Bar Council (PbBC) announced the strike and demanded of the government to arrest the killer of Sessions Judge Zulfiqar Naqvi and two other people.
PbBC Vice Chairman Ghulam Abbas Nissoana said the government had failed to protect the lives of lawyers and common people. He demanded of the government to arrest the killers of the sessions judge; otherwise, they would hold more strikes.
