Fatiyana alleges conspiracy hatched to kill him

LAHORE – MNA Riaz Fatiyana, while alleging that an attempt was made to burn him alive during the protests against loadshedding in Kamalia, has asked Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to take notice of the incident.
Addressing a press conference at the Lahore Press Club on Sunday, Fatiyana alleged that the police, instead of providing him justice, had registered a fake FIR against him.
He said that former Supreme Court judge Khalilur Rehman Ramday, his brother and son were responsible for the conspiracies against him.
Fatiyana claimed that the miscreants had burnt five cars and 37 motorbikes parked at his residence, while the angry mob tried to kill him. He also claimed that the dead body of a child, who died during the protest, was found at a distance of two miles from his residence. He further said that he had nothing to do with the murder and the FIR should not have been registered against him in the first place.
