LAHORE - Pakistan WAPDA Employees Pegham Union has demanded the Prime Minister to announce inflation allowance and raise the salaries of the government workers in upcoming budget.
Addressing a meeting in connection with May Day here on Tuesday, the Union President SD Saqib and other officebearers said the loadshedding had become a major problem and its solution lies in construction of Kalabagh Dam.
“Instead of celebrating May Day traditionally, the government should take practical step for the welfare of labourers,” they called upon the government.
