Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira Tuesday said that government is ready to withdraw the Frontier Constubalry from Balochistan, if Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Nawaz Sharif guarantees peace in the province.

Talking to the media persons in Lahore on Tuesday‚ Kaira said that PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif, being a national leader should avoid giving irresponsible statements.
Kaira, however, welcomed Nawaz Sharif’s meeting with Baloch leaders including Talal Bughti and Akhtar Mengal.
"We are ready to withdraw FC from Balochistan if Nawaz Sharif gives the guarantee that this move will not further deteriorate the situation in the province," he added.
To a question‚ the Information Minister said agencies are working under the government and they have submitted their replies before the Supreme Court about the Balochistan situation.
The Information Minister has called upon the political parties not to politicize the issue of Balochistan.
He told the media persons along with Minister for Religious Affairs Khurshid Shah after appearing before the Lahore High Court in Haj Quota case‚ he said his party has welcomed the contacts of Pakistan Muslim League (N) with the Baloch leaders. However‚ there should not be politicis on this issue.
To a question‚ the Information Minister said his party is following the apex court's directions on the NRO implementation case.
Minister for Religious Affairs said the present government ended the role of military in Balochistan. It is ready to withdraw FC if PML (N) Chief Nawaz Sharif guarantees the lives of innocent people there.
Earlier on his arrival at Lahore‚ talking to media‚ Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira has said the constitutional course will be pursed for the establishment of new provinces including South Punjab.
He said the commission on new provinces was established on the demand of the PML (N) to develop consensus on the matter. Rejecting reservations of the PML (N) ‚ he said the commission will continue the work and present its report.
Welcoming the talks of PML (N) Chief Nawaz Sharif with Baloch leaders including Talal Bughti and Akhtar Mengal‚ he said Nawaz Sharif being a national leader however should avoid giving irresponsible statements.
He said Pakistan People's Party has worked to improve the situation in Balochistan and we have welcomed the visit of Baloch leader Akhtar Mengal to Islamabad.

Speaking on the occasion‚ Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khurshid Shah said we believe in the independence of judiciary and our leaders have always appeared before the courts.
