Nawaz criticizes govt’s ignorance on Balochistan issue

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Nawaz Sharif said on Tuesday that he was putting efforts to bring peace in Balochistan and being a Pakistani it was his duty.

Speaking to media along with Asma Jehangir at her residence here, Sharif said that free and fair election was also a demand of the Baloch politicians. He said that election in 2008 was not transparent. Nawaz Sharif said that he would even make a grand alliance to resolve Balochistan issue if the need arose.
Sharif urged the government not to ignore Balochistan issue. He asked as under which law people were being disappeared in Balochistan.
Nawaz Sharif reiterated that killers of Nawaz Akbar Khan Bugti be brought to book. He said that wounds of Baloch be heeled, adding that wounds like killing of Nawab Bugti could not be heeled soon.
The former prime minister said that he was talking about national interest and that he had no personal interest.
Asma Jehangir applauded Nawaz Sharif’s views on Balochistan and said that it was good gesture that Punjab’s leader was talking about Balochistan issue.
She also criticized Pakistan People’s Party for what she said its bad governance.
