LAHORE - Devotees from all over the country and abroad visited shrine of Hazrat Ali Hajveri (RA) on the second day of his 969th annual urs on Wednesday.
Three-day urs ceremonies will conclude today (Thursday). Punjab Auqaf Department provided huge number of devotees’ access to Darbar without much of a hassle.
The Auqaf Department has made elaborate arrangements of “Langar” for the devotees. National Mehfil-e-Naat, Tableghi and spiritual gatherings were held in which the famous Naat Khawan, ulema and intellectuals read their papers about the Holy Prophet (PBUH), Hazrat Ali Hajveri (RA) and other saints.
On Tuesday, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated the 969th urs of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh by Chadar Poshi (covering the grave with a sheet) and laying wreath on the grave of the saint.
