Suspected suicide bomber was a devotee: Punjab Police

The Punjab Police has backtracked from his early claim of declaring Rafique alias Usman as suspected suicide bomber of blasts occurred in Data Darbar. According to a private TV channel, the Punjab Police has declared Muhammad Rafique alias Usman was not terrorist but a devotee of Data Darbar. Muhammad Rafique (22), resident of a bordering area, Barki Hadiara paid visit to Data Darbar every Thursday and returned home after praying Friday prayer, reported the channel. The channel while quoting police sources said that the brother, Lateef and friends of Muhammad Rafique, who were arrested, have been released. The body of Muhammad Rafique was handed over to his family and he was buried.
