PPP afraid of defeat in upcoming polls: PML-N

LAHORE - PML-N Central Information Secretary Mushahidullah Khan has said that the PPP leaders are afraid of defeat in the next general elections owing to a highly disappointing performance of their government over the last four and a half years.

The PPP leaders out of frustration have come down to speak cheap against the PML-N President Nawaz Sharif for they have nothing in stocks to sell out to the public for contesting the next elections, Mushahid stated on Tuesday.
He said the PPP threw the nation into the darkness and abyss of miseries during its rule and today it was trying to put blame on the Punjab government for its failures in the energy sector.
He said if Thar coal project was such a nice and feasible for generating power, why not the federal government itself kicked it off. Or if the government has been so sincere about producing electricity through that project, why not it prepared any report on it and presented before the people and the public representatives.
He said Syed Khursjeed Shah is a senior politician as such telling lies and alleging Nawaz Sharif do not suit his character.
