LAHORE – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Secretary General Dr Arif Alvi and Information Secretary Shafqat Mahmood have expressed sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives because of explosion in fireworks factory in Multan.
The explosion killed six, injured many and it needed to be investigated, they said in a statement issued on Saturday. The PTI showed concern over presence of an unsafe factory in a densely populated area.
The leaders said the local administration should be taken to task for criminal negligence. They expressed sorrow with the bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls. They also prayed for speedy recovery of the injured and asked the authorities to take action against those responsible for this incident.
