Free medical campa

LAHO RE (PR) - The student members of Seeds of Peace arranged a free medical camp at The Trust School, Green Town. The camp was held in collaboration with Trust for Education and Development of Deserving Students and Karwan-e-Noor Eye Trust. This medical camp was organized to provide free health screening and medical checkup for the underprivileged community as part of the 'SOP Change Makers Program. The camp included the facilities of free diabetes, cholesterol, calcium and eye tests, in addition to free consultation by Skin, Gastro, Chest and Gynae specialists. There were four medical officers for general checkup. The members of SOP gave health and hygiene awareness talks and demonstration for the patients and their attendants. Among other dignitaries the camp was visited by Kathyrin A. Keiser (The Cultural Affairs Officer of the US Consulate, Lahore). A total of three hundred people (65% of which were females) turned up for the medical checkup at the camp from the suburbs of Green Town, Johar Town, Township, Nespak, Quad-e-Azam Town, Wapda Town, Faisal Town and other surrounding areas. The people who attended the camp were appreciative of the efforts of the students from Seeds of Peace for helping the humanity.
