LAHORE – DCO Noorul Amin Mengal Wednesday visited Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) and Services Hospital to inspect the facilities there. He also asked the patients about the facilities and the treatment being provided.
The DCO assured hospital administrations of his full cooperation. He said the situation was fast improving and the number of doctors in PIC was sufficient. “CDGL doctors are being appointed in other hospitals that were facing shortage of staff.”
The DCO said no one would be allowed to play with the lives of innocent people, adding that only such doctors were being released who assured the government that they would not participate in the strike.
Also, DCO Noorul Amin Mengal took notice on Wednesday of shortage of drinking water in Chah Miran.
After a protest by the residents, he directed Wasa to ensure water supply in Chah Miran. He also directed Wasa officers to submit a report to his office after completing the task.
