LAHORE – Tehreek-e-Istiqlal Central President Rahmat Khan Wardag stressed the need of construction of new dams in the country. He said agricultural revolution will come with the construction of dams. While addressing a press conference at Lahore Press Club here on Monday, he said the government should immediately sign agreement with China or any other country under BOT for construction of dams including Muda, Khori and Kalabagh dams. He also suggested that electricity department should be handed over to the provinces immediately. Wardag said feudal and capitalists would occupy in the assemblies until change of system. He said the political parties who had system of proportionate representation should unite and struggle for implementation of the system before upcoming elections. He said under the proportionate representation system, not a single vote would go waste.
