LAHORE – A seven-year-old girl died after she accidentally fell from the rooftop of her house in Manga Mandi area, police said on Monday.  The family told the police that the girl, identified as Zainab, was playing at the rooftop of her residence when all of a sudden she slipped and fell over from the top. The girl sustained serious head injuries and was instantly rushed to a local hospital, where doctors pronounced her as dead. The police handed over the body to the deceased’s family. Meanwhile, a youth, Muhammad Qasim, who was admitted to a local hospital with serious injuries the other day, died their on Monday. Qasim sustained serious injures in a road mishap in the Raiwind police area and was admitted to the hospital on Sunday. The police are investigating. Gamblers: Gulshan-e-Ravi police claimed to have arrested 11 gamblers during a raid.
