The DCO also directed administrators of all the towns to start their work in this regard. He also directed CTO to make necessary arrangements for the deployment of traffic wardens to solve the traffic problems and to run then smooth flow of vehicles at roads located near these sales points. He said that except these points, sale of sacrificial animals would not be allowed in the city area.
The DCO ordered to improve cleanliness arrangements surrounding of Iranian Consulate (Khana Farhang). He also directed to improve security arrangements of GOR1. He issued these directions while a meeting with Director General Iranian Consulate Mr. Abbas Famoori at Camp Office. The DCO assured DG Iranian Consulate to solve their issues on priority basis. He also presented souvenir of Lahore Fort to Mr. Abbas Famoori.
Also, the DCO chaired a meeting of District Petrol Pumps’ committee on Thursday here at Town hall. DO(C), DO (Environment) (Special Planning), (Civil Defense) and officers of LDA, TEPA and traffic Police also presented there. 4 cases of issuance of NOC were discussed in meeting. DCO Lahore ordered to issue license to a petrol pump situated at Shokat Ali Road, Johar Twn. The DCO directed PSO administration of Defence to get NOC from Environment Protection Department while NOC would be issued to Attock Petrol Pump of College Road after the visit of District Officer (Special Planning). The DCO also directed District Officer (Labour) to inspect all petrol pumps of the city and take strict action against those petrol pumps that will create artificial shortage of petrol in the city.
During a jointly carried out operation on Thursday, staff of the Town Planning Wing and Commercialization Directorate of Lahore Development Authority sealed a hotel as well as a boutique, which had been functioning for the past many years on plot No 104-B-I, situated along M.M. Aalam Road, Gulberg.
The category of this residential plot had neither been changed nor had the commercialization fee been paid for conversion of its status. Commercial building plan had also not been got approved for the constructions structures on it.
