LAHORE – Government College University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khaleequr Rehman has said that Pakistan’s academia will never let Kashmir issue bury before it gets resolved.
He urged the politicians of Pakistan and India to make sincere afforts to resolve the core issue which was in the interest of both countries.
Peace in the region was directly linked to the Kashmir issue and all other countries in the region should also exert pressure on India to resolve this issue, he added. He said Kashmir issue had been the most discussed topic in tutorial groups at the Govt College University, Lahore.
In a press release, Cathedral School Gulshan Ravi branch Principal Shagufta Khan called for the early liberation of Kashmir from Indian.
She demanded for cessation of Indian hostilities in the Held Valley and an end to illegal occupation of the valley by India, urging the world nations to play their role in giving Kashmiris their just right.
She stressed that Kashmir issue should be resolved according to the wishes of Kashmiri people under the framework of UN resolutions.
She said that India was not sincere in the dialogue process on Kashmir issue and seemed that her tactics were to wasting time.
Ms Shagufta also stressed the need for highlighting the Kashmir issue worldwide to get the issue resolved.
