LAHORE – Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal said Tuesday that all parties were united on Kashmir issue and the government would continue its support for the right of self-determination to Kashmiris.

Addressing at a Kashmir peace picture exhibition organised by Unified Media Club of Pakistan here at Aiwan-e-Iqbal, he said that Pakistan would continue supporting Kashmiris at all fronts till they get freedom. He also paid tribute to the Kashmiri martyrs who laid their lives for the freedom of Kashmir.
PPP deputy parliamentary leader in the Punjab Assembly Shaukat Mehmud Basra, said that Pakistan would continue its political, moral and diplomatic support to the people of held Kashmir. Former Lahore High Court Chief Justice Mian Allah Nawaz said that it was important to promote spirit of freedom over the lust of power for the just cause of Kashmiris.
Former principal Allama Iqbal Medical College Prof. Dr Javed Akram said that all energies should be utilized to support Kashmiris freedom movement.
Pictures depicting the struggle of Kashmiris for their independence were put on display in the exhibition.
