LAHORE – Balochistan Day will be observed all over the country on March 9 on the call of the Defa-e-Pakistan Council to express solidarity with the people of the province and to protest against the injustices done to them.
This was stated by member DPC and Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Liaquat Baloch in a statement here on Monday. He said the rulers were under the impression that the problems of Balochistan could be solved only through statements and announcements, but they were mistaken.
The situation in Balochistan was serious and required solid efforts to be solved. He said the Balochistan youth were of the view that neither Islamabad nor the Punjab rulers were taking the Balochistan situation seriously, and people were being denied their lawful rights and insulted.
