LAHORE – India High Commissioner Sharat Sabharwal called on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N President Nawaz Sharif at Raiwind on Tuesday. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest came under discussion.

Malik under fire: Senator Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa on Tuesday said that, instead of issuing hollow statements, Rehman Malik should take practical steps to eliminate terrorism.
He said that Rehman Malik was creating disharmony between provinces through his statements. He said that the terrorists were issued licenses of lethal weapons by federal government as well as Sindh and Balochistan governments of PPP.
Commenting upon statement of Rehman Malik, Khosa said that, if Malik performed his duties efficiently, terrorism could be reduced considerably. He said that the conspiracy to put the blame on Punjab for terrorism in Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa could never succeed.
He said that the relations of Peoples Party with sectarian organisations were a part of record, as Peoples Party, not only provided patronage to sectarian organisations, but appointed their members as ministers as well.
