PMA deadline to govt

LAHO RE Terming attitude of the rulers insincere and unsatisfactory toward resolution of medics problems, Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Punjab has given May 13 deadline to the government for announcement of increase in salary package and acceptance of other demands. Addressing a press conference here at the PMA House on Thursday, President PMA Punjab Prof Dr Ashraf Nizami said that the doctors would stop attending patients at OPD of all hospitals from May 14 later the strike could be extended to indoors if the demands were not fulfilled till the deadline of May 13. Other PMA office-bearers were also present. Dr Ashraf Nizami said that the decision had been taken at Majlis-e-Amla.
