LAHORE - The session ended in adopting various resolutions urging the government to protect national interest.
The resolution on Kashmir urged the government to play its part in resolving the issue, even if by struggle. Excerpts are;
Government should raise the Kashmir issue on all international forums.
Government should turn away friendly-relationship with a country that occupied Kashmir illegally in a bid to make Pakistan a desert and a state that has been plotting against it.
Another motion condemned Bangladeshi sentences to people who supported united Pakistan 1971.
Other resolutions are:
Government should promote Urdu language.
It should construct Kalabagh Dam.
It should devise policies on its own.
It should curtail Indian channels and films in Pakistan.
It should get US drone hits stopped in tribal areas.
It should establish its writ in Karachi at all costs.
