Three killed in road mishap

LAHORE – Three people were killed in a road mishap in City Raiwind Area, police and rescue workers said on Friday.
Eyewitnesses told the police that a rashly driven mini truck smashed into a motorcycle near Jia Bagga Phatak in the vicinity of City Raiwind police.
As a result, three persons, who were travelling on the motorcycle, sustained multiple injuries. They were rushed to a local hospital immediately but died on their way.
The deceased men were later identified as Sajwal Masih, Sajjad Masih and Sharif Masih. The driver along with the truck managed to escape from the crime scene. The police have registered the case and are investigating. The police also handed over the dead bodies to the families.
