Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that help and assistance to the poor and destitute persons is the pivot of the politics of PM L-N. Talking to various segments of society during Thursday's tent office meeting at Minar-e-Pakistan here Thursday who informed him about their problems, the CM said that mitigating the sufferings of the needy and improvised people was the best form of public service. He expressed strong resolve of provincial government's attachment for special importance to the welfare of deprived and oppressed segments of the society. He said that Daanish School system, Punjab Educational Endowment Fund, Aashiyana housing scheme and other such steps are reflection of the commitment of Punjab government to service to humanity and good governance. The Punjab CM also gave sympathetic hearing to the aggrieved persons and issued on the spot orders for redressing their grievances, besides giving instructions for extending financial assistance and jobs to persons facing hardships due to disability and poverty. On the occasion, he ordered free education to a disabled girl Faiza and provision of a job to a blind youth Shahzad, besides giving instructions for financial assistance to a woman Saba of Faisalabad and Kishwar, a mother of five blind children.
