In tragic incident of fire on Thursday in Services Hospital Lahore at least four children were died while 21 others received burn injuries, officials said. According to DCO, the nursery ward of the Services Hospital caught fire due to short circuit resulted killing of four infants and burn injuries to 21 others. Hospital officials said conditions of most children were critical. Police and rescue teams rushed to the scene soon after the fire broke out in most sensitive area of the hospital. Several children were taken out of the ward by breaking glasses of windows, officials said. Officials said that the incident occurred due to short circuit. Emergency was declared in hospital and all medical staff was called to sanatorium. Chief Minster Punjab took notice of the incident and asked for an immediate inquiry.
