LAHORE – The Lesco team, during a crackdown on electricity theft, caught about 26 persons while stealing power through different tactics.
The raid has been conducted in Premnagar, Islampura, Samanabad, Ittehad Colony sub-divisions. Samanabad division in-charge SE Anwar Qaseem said Wednesday that detection bills of Rs1.8 million were sent to the electricity thieves and their electricity connections were disconnected. Moreover, FIRs had been registered against three persons involved in direct power theft, he added.
