LAHORE – A consumer court on Saturday directed a shopkeeper to replace an auto part and pay Rs10,000 to petitioner as compensation for selling a defective auto rickshaw.
Petitioner Ali Hussain told the court that he bought a Rs150,000 rickshaw with a warranty of three months, but it had several defects. He submitted to the court that he approached the service centre time and again but to no avail; though the factory admitted that the rickshaw was defective, it was not changed.
