PIA’s seven flights cancelled due to technical fault

Passengers had to suffer a lot as Pakistan International Airline (PIA) cancelled seven national and international flights due to technical fault in operational system on Sunday.

According to details, the PIA flights cancelled due to disruption in operational system included Jeddah bound flights PK-2407 and PK-2207 scheduled at 10am and 11am respectively. Other cancelled flights comprised Lahore-Quetta PK-323 scheduled 9am, Islamabad-Lahore PK-649, Quetta-Lahore PK-320 scheduled 6am, Islamabad-Lahore PK-PK-649, Damam-Lahore via Islamabad PK248.
PIA inquiry officials when contacted in this regard said that technical fault in the operational system resulted in cancellation of flights. PIA experts put their utmost efforts to remove the fault but in vain which resulted in problems for passengers, they said.
Meanwhile passenges had to face problems due to cancellation of flights. They criticized the PIA authorities having a slogan of “Great people to fly with” over failure to run the system smoothly.
