LAHORE - District Coordination Officer Ahad Khan Cheema has said that laws regarding one dish and timings of wedding ceremonies will be implemented at all cost. Directions in this regard have already been issued to TMOs and Town Administrators, he further said.
Presiding over a meeting in Town Hall here on Wednesday, the DCO said the host of the wedding ceremony would be arrested on the violation of one dish or timings and TMOs and Town Officers (Regulation) are bound to check the wedding ceremonies in their respected areas personally and take action according to the law on violation.
The DCO directed the officers to check the wedding functions along with police of the concerned area and take action against violators. He directed the officers to register cases against the violators in the concerned police stations. He said no leniency would be tolerated in this regard. The TMOs and Administrators attended the meeting.
