Two persons were injured when compressor of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) station burst due to unknown reasons here in Sheikhupura on early Saturday. The CNG station caught fire after the incident.

According to rescue sources, compressor of a CNG station located in Joyanwala More area at Sheikhupura-Lahore burst suddenly.
Two employees of the CNG station identified as Muhammad Aslam and Abdul Rehman were injured in the explosion.
Fire erupted in the CNG station after the blast which was overcome by rescue personnel by suspending the supply of gas to the station.
The injured were rushed to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Sheikhupura where according to hospital sources their condition was stable.
