Petroleum price case: LHC adjourns hearing till Feb 12

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday summoned lawyers of the respondents to present their final arguments on February 12 in petroleum price case.

LHC Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial resumed hearing of petition filed against hike in petroleum prices. During the hearing the prosecutor did not appear in the court
In reply submitted by the petroleum ministry, the court was told that price of petroleum products is adjusted according to the international rates. The price is revised if international oil price goes up or down.
All the details and facts in this regard are available on petroleum ministry’s website, the ministry explained.
