Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has termed the allegations levelled against PML-N in Mehran scam as baseless and viewed it as conspiracy against future success of his party. In a statement on Friday, he said the people had already learnt about the faces behind such plot. "These are the elements who have blamed PML-N of plane hijacking but the people did not believe them and now, will also reject them," he added. He said through this kind of propaganda, scale of massive popularity could not be brought down, he said, and resolved that they would frustrate all such machinations in future with public support.
