Turkish deputy PM meets Shahbaz


LAHORE – Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif at Model Town Saturday.
Matters of mutual interests and the metro bus project were discussed during the meeting. Ambassador of Turkey Baber Hazlan, Director General of Ulasim Company Omer Yildiz, Chief Executive Officer of Albayrak Company Bunyamin Karaca Ahmet Albayrak and other Turkish dignitaries accompanied the deputy prime minister. Lahore Transport Company Chairman Kh Ahmad Hassan were also present.
Talking to the Turkish delegation, Shahbaz said that metro bus project is a joint venture of the Punjab government and Turkey. He said that this project is a masterpiece of mutual cooperation and friendship. The chief minister said he was thankful to the Turkish brethren on visit to Pakistan.
Turkish Deputy PM Bozdag said they have come to the home of their own brother. He said that they want to promote socio-economic cooperation with Pakistan.
He congratulated the chief minister on the completion of metro bus project. He said that people will pray for Shahbaz Sharif for completing this splendid project and his delegation has come here to join their joys. He said that Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan has also sent his message of love for Shahbaz Sharif.
