LAHORE – The estimated budget of the Chief Minister Secretariat for the Financial Year (FY) 2012-13 has been slashed in face of the fact that during the FY 2011-12 the budgetary estimate  of the CM secretariat was revised with the addition of Rs102.200million from the originally announced estimated budget.
The estimated budget of the Governor House Secretariat has been enhanced by Rs23.49million from that of the estimated budget of FY 2011-12 while Governor House budget has been kept the same as that of the previous year. For the next financial year the budgetary allocation for the Chief Minster’s secretariat has been estimated at Rs 259.836million against the revised estimated budget of Rs 368.619million and the estimated budget of Rs 266.419million of the FY 2011-12.
The next year outlay has been kept even lesser than the estimated budget of the previous year but then it was revised to over Rs 100million. It is to be noted that the next elections is an anytime probability as such the Punjab government would prefer not exceed the limit.  Moreover through austerity campaign it has announced to tightened its belt and for that reason, a cut has been made on the next year budget of the CM secretariat.
