SC moved for Malik Riaz’s arrest through Interpol

The Supreme Court of Pakistan has been urged through a writ petition to bring real estate tycoon Malik Riaz back in the country through Interpol by issuing his red warrants. Barrister Zafarullah Khan filed this petition on Saturday and submitted that Malik Riaz took this step just to disgrace judiciary. He said that the government should issue red warrants against him and should arrest him through Interpol.

He said Riaz was hatching conspiracies against the judiciary. He requested the court to direct the government to start proper investigation so that the conspiracy would come to an end against this esteemed institution. He requested action also against media anchors involved in this conspiracy of defaming judiciary by highlighting the issue of Dr Arslan, the son of the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
