LAHORE – A three-day Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) course concluded at College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) Regional Center Lahore on Saturday.
As many as 15 doctors attended the course from across the country and abroad. 10 instructors provided training with the latest machines to save human lives in the shortest possible time. DGIR Prof Khalid Masood Gondal said that this course would be mandatory for all trainees in future. This course would be helpful in providing the best emergency facilities.
 He further said that Pakistan was the only country in SAARC region conducting ATLS course in collaboration with American College of Surgeons.
He said that this course would help to provide medical aid to the patients after accidents. The participants of the course thanked the CPSP for the commencement of this course. They further said that they have learnt a lot from the experience of their seniors.
