LAHORE –President Zardari and the PPP should not express happiness over the Swiss refusal to reopen the corruption case, Jamat-e-Islami(JI) Ameer Syed Munawar Hasan has said.
Addressing the sitting of the JI’s Social Media Workshop at Mansoora, he said billion rupees of Pakistan are lying in Zardari’s Swiss accounts and he would have to pay every penny.
He said the PPP was trying to delay the elections as it couldn’t face the people’s court because of total failure in resolving the problems of the masses in its tenure, rather they should be ready to face Allah’s court finally.
The people were deprived of two times meals; while the rulers were building palaces in every town, he added.
He said defeat in Afghanistan made the US begging for talks while the Taliban were holding talks on their own terms.
Now the US had nothing for the humanity and it had also lost the force of argument, he said. The US was trying to thrust its world order but Islamic influence blocked it.
He said the MQM was trying hard to delay the elections by creating anarchy and violence. Therefore, he said, all the democratic parties should join hands and bring forth joint candidates against the PPP and the MQM. The government should go for talks with the Taliban by ignoring the US dictation in order to set the country free from terrorism, lawlessness, unemployment and poverty. At the end, he suggested JI’s media cell to to train themselves with modern techniques to get rid of ideological wars.
